Oakherst Trees

Various Trees: Acer, Cornus, Quercus, Tilia, Fagus etc,

This beautiful grove, containing maple, Western Dogwood, English Oak, linden, European Beech and hawthorn was on the grounds of the former Oakherst hospital. Some of the trees dated back to the First World War. Construction of a housing development began here in 1997 and many of the trees were subsequently removed.
